Hi all
I am new to this forum. My 94' 325i temp. gauge needle suddenly does not move beyond the Blue/Cold side, even after I drive the car for 20mins. After driving for 30+mins, it slightly moves out of the Blue side, but for away from the middle. There is no any visible sign of coolant leak or radiator crack. I also felt the upper radiator hose is warmer. I am not sure where the lower radiator hose is. The lower one that connects to one side of the thermostat and the upper hose to the side. I need help/suggestions. The car has 93Kmiles.
K becuase recently when it was around 20-25 degrees my car took forever for the temperature needle to go up. Maybe the sensor for temperature is starting to go, or a loose connection?

If you turn on the heat in your car does it work? I had the same problem and my thermostat was out. Cost about $35 if i remember correctly. You can change it yourself but it can be a pain to bleed the radiator. I had my mechanic do it since i was having other work done. Now that I got a new thermostat my car heats up fine even when it is below freezing here.
For past two weeks, when i turn on the heater, it will blow extremely hot air even when i set the climate control to 64 deg. Now after this problem, it will blow air which is warm not hot, even when i set the temp to 80 deg.
