I happened to be at the stealership getting some parts (I know...but bavauto had to special order and it was gonna take like 2 1/2 weeks)...i noticed on the parts counter a mag. called "Techdrive" Premiere issue for indep. BMW service professionals....and FREE (yes the ONLY thing you will get from a stealership for free besides an ass pounding)

Contained great articles, one in particular about diagnosing and fixing all problems associated with the MIL (check engine light).

Too much info to write here, just figured I would let you guys know in case you happen to be at the stealer for something...pick it up....

Yeah, where is at?
Seems like they don't have it here in NY. about a week ago when i went to the stealer (got some parts to fix window) i didint seen any mag.

Its here in RI its great i was there the other day to pick up a new owners manual and i saw it on the counter..... tons of great info!

RI were u at Inskip? damn i could just hang out there for hours drooling over the pretty toys lol.

It's the dealership. People call them stealerships because they charge so much that it seems like they are stealing money from you.

Hutch, yeah I was. Reluctantly because I hate those mother F'rs there...they treat you like shit unless your buying a new 7 series...I didn't buy my car from them because of that...even compared to other BMW stealers, they seem to be even worse...they mark up parts like 500%

Yea RI they are royal cock suckers, my friend is at New england tech in the automotive program and he was gonna work for Inskip till he found out that they refuse to keep mechanics for long enough to raise thier pay, they only keep them on for a few years then drop them for the next new kid comming out of New England Tech...... pretty shitty if u ask me.
