I am going to attempt to paint my headlight fixtures silver, because of the new clear corners the black looks too dark, and i know how to take the actual light bulbs out but after that im lost, how do I take out the whole headlight?

first check the faq section, but its usually 3 screws then you have to take off you corners too and there will be one more screw in there, im not totally sure, havent done it for a while but yeah take off all the screws and itll come right out! not to hard to figure out! post some pics when the mod is done!

unless you have ellipsoids, the plastic cover is not removable from the black housing.

oh yeah that too! there is a way somewhere in the faq section i think were you can take the plastic off but it has to do with puting them i nthe oven and letting them heat up and them sealing them back up with glue or some crap like that! wait to get ellipsiods ifyou dont have them before you paint them! and buy angel eyes with them itll look sick!

I would imagine he already has ellipsoids since his housing is black.

yeah thats true, they both come black! so hopefully he doesnt try to take the covers off, and just rips them off or else he might be kind of screwed with putting them back together!

If you have the plastic ones and mess it up in the oven then you'll have a good reason buy the ellipsoids, hehe .
