Tailgate and rear bumper replacement

Hi guys, I am a new member here , just wondering if anybody can direct me to a thread or link to help me swap my tailgate and rear bumper. I have a 316i. Thank you

Its pretty simple. Remove the plastic trim off the rear bumper and it will expose the bolts that hold it onto the bumper support bracket. Remove, and slowly plull off.

As for the trunk lid, when you open it, you will see the four bolts (2 on each side) that hold it on. Remove the shock absorbers first. Then remove the four bolts and it will come right off.

Thank you, I have 10 wires at the left side and 6 wires at the right side of the tailgate that I bought, so I assume I should just match the colors ? my existing gate is 316 and the one that I bought is 318 m spec with spoiler
