Tail light sockets

Hello all, I just picked up a '97 318i. Was advised that I had a brake light out last night, one of the contacts was corroded, easy fix. However, I am not sure the previous owner has the right bulbs and/or sockets in the proper locations.

I did a few searches but couldn't find a layout of which socket goes to which place. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

Thanks Lord Vader. It helps some but I was just looking through videos of replacing the tail lights and saw what I needed. the layout of the socket colors is:

Top row Black & Black
Bottom row Black, Grey, plug, White

Obviously, opposite for other side. Whoever was messing with these before has them all hosed up. Looks like a job for tomorrow when I can pop the assemblies out, clean the grids and sockets and put them back in the proper configuration.
