Yes, your computer will read a message that says:

"UGLY TAILIGHTS" over and over until you take them off....

IMO the second ones are worse...but if you like 'em dude...do what makes you happy.

The new 7 series has taillights that almost start to lean in that direction, but on a 3 series I think they just look cheap...

I could be totally wrong...maybe they will look better on your car...

you are better off with the diamond cuts if you want to update the look of your taillights...these ones also require rewiring out of the box, that's what people with previous experience has said

LED taillights- there are many stories about how they are incompatiable with the computer system and even fried some vital internal wiring, due to variations of voltage using LEDs

Dude, I'm with you. Unlike most here, I think the idea of LED tail lights is a good one. It's more updated like the newer e46 cars, and it improves safety as they are way more attention getting.

But be patient, as I don't put anything cheap on my car, I'm waiting for a reputable company to offer such. FK makes a good looking set (especially for our black cars) but I have yet to find an American destributor. I have a few FK dealers here in the states that will contact me as soon as they become available.

In the mean time, here's a pic to get you excited....
