Swapping an E36 M3 Engine into a 325is

1) How much do E36 M3 engines cost?
2) How much would it cost to swap one into a 1995 325is?
3) How much would it cost to swap one into a 1995 318is?

I found some on Ebay - 97 M3 engine with around 40k miles is about 4000$. This includes transmission, blah-blah - complete takeout. You'd have to change exhaust system on 318 as well. Figure labor costs 2 grand. Or, for 6 grand, buy another 318

if you can do your own labor it will be a lot cheaper...im doing the conversion on my own so far my bill is around 2k and a bit more just not 100% sure

would the price/ease of installation change a lot based on if the car was a 318 or a 325? or maybe a 328?

you can get a new (yes new) s52 3.2l with 6 speed euro tranny for 10g. yes that sounds alot. but the engines dont have a mile on there clicker

yes i am from rochester Ny and my friend has a 1994 325i four door automatic and we just
swaped a 1997 e36 m3 manual in his car............we had to change everything the entire suspension,brakes,exhaust,.................i have a friend that work's for bmw in rochester Ny and did the swap for us for 2 grand............... if you want my boi to do it for u give me a holla 202-4240...........my name is linh
