92_325i is an unknown quantity at this point
alright, i've seen a lot of places that offer turbo kits, such as Active Autowerke, offer a kit that bolts onto the 95 M3 as well as the 92-95 325i. this leads me to believe that the heads are similar in some aspects. i was wondering then, is it possible to swap the M3 head onto a 325i block? has it been done or researched by anyone? advatantages or disadvantages if possible? also, what about upgrading my 92 to have VANOS? possible without engine swap? any info would be great. i searched but found nothing about the head swapping.

I've heard there is little difference between 328 heads and M3 heads. Not sure if it's correct info though.
