Angry sunroof wont close

my 1996 328i sunroof wont close the switch seems fine i switched it with the drivers window switch and the same thing i hear the motor click when i push down but when i push up nothing if it is the motor can i Manueley close it

There should be an access port near the front of the sunroof and a tool like and allen wrench (in the decklid toolkit) that can close it.

if the cables are bad you should be able to "help" it close by pushing on the button and helping it with the other hand like i do on my e30.
