sup guys, well, my sunroofs tilt mech has been busted since i got the car, never got around to fixing it, now my sunroof wont even open, or tilt or anything, and to top it off when im on the freeway about 70+ the rattling peice inside drives me nuts, its as if someone were hammering metal over my head....
my question, what do i do now?? i heard it would be really expensive to fix the whole roof..so do they sell a sunroof delete kit or anything? i dont want to have to replace the motor and all that shit, it might be cheaper to delete it..
you could weld it closed... but that would look ugly... my 318 started to have the loud noise thing around 60 too, never got around to fixing it... hope you can find something... the motor is for sure dead?
yeah mine stopped moving one time too, i just forced it closed/open with my hands, and then something popped and it worked again(without the vent) however the headline part of it didnt come back, i had to fish that out of my roof with my hands. Maybe we are having different problems... pics or something?
