Unlike later models, The sunroof on my 96 328i opens with one touch but requires constant pressure on the button to close. Is this the way it's supposed to work or is something amiss?

Thanks,

Ken

Could you replace that switch with a one-touch switch like the one found on the driver's side?

it is a saftey feature to keep idiot kids from sticking their head out of the sunroof while its closing. The relay can be replaced but I forgot how and where the write up is.
