Im getting this like random sulfer smell coming from my exhaust,
ive heard this is from cat converters, but no clue
it's a 94 325is auto
98k miles?
Im guessing if it is cat converter, is there anything I can do to clean it out, that doesnt involve, like replacing it with a new one, I am low as heck on $$$
The sulphur smell can be due to your AFM having some problem. Are you also having eratic idling speed. This are some of the sign that the AFM is jammed up.
You can service your AFM if you are the DIY type.
I have this similar problem before and I found that the vane of the AFM was struck in the fully opened position.
