Hi Guys, My car has recently developed a fault, when the engine is cold it stutters when driving at low revs day in 4th gear at 30 down a hill the ar will stuter, by this i mean you have to dip the clutch and basically coast. When at a stand still the idle is arround 600 rpm it looks rock steady on the rev counter yet I can feel the engine struggling slightly.

I have changed the spark plugs.

I have yet to do the Fuel Filter, o2 sensor and ICV. Will any of these make a diference? my car has 145k on the clock....

Any opinions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

Yes, you can try cleaning the ICV and replacing the O2 sensor & fuel filter, but you should also clean the throttle body. At 30mph, you should probably be in 3rd, not 4th gear.

I wouldn't relaly worry about it man, different engines have different gear ratios. Just run it in third down the hill. Its nothin to worry about unless it is a severe problem that shakes the car when in gear. A little bit of the jitters is nothin to worry about. Why not put in in nuetral and coast anyways, you can save gas!
