Hey I have decided to try and replace my struts myself and save some money. If any of you guys have done this before how would you rate the difficulty from a 1-10? Oh and any precautions or things to look out for. Thanks for your help!
6......you will need a spring compressor for the struts, you can rent one from Advanced Auto Parts for free, you just pay the cost of it & when you are done & return it, they refund you the money.....
thanks johnny, it looks pretty straightforward and thankfully i have access to a spring compressor. I should be doing this within the next 2 weeks before i mount my summer tires.
This place's feedback is a little on the low side for me, @ 99.4%. I did not like what I read on their negatives.......could be selling refurbs as new.......just my 2 cents...
What a deal! I'd check the part #s they list against Bilsteins website (if possible). I just did and they want $219 ea. for the fronts and $119 for the rears although the fronts are listed for an E36 4 cyl.
