well, if you get strobes, don't wuss out and get the autozone ones, get the real deal, the police issue Whelen brand strobes like I sell where I work. They flash way brighter faster and stay in sequence! They might be a little more but are well worth it. You have to take the headlight out(in most cases) and drill a whole out big enough for the strobe to mount in, then run the wires under the car(some people run them inside the car) to the control box located in the car. Then of course you have to mount a switch to do turn them on and off

is that box with a positive red plus sign in under the hood a power source? and if it is can i hook up my strobes to that box?

that is your battery terminal, well sorta, cause your battery is in the back of the car. but i think you can hook up from that, since it runs back to the battery
