Strange starting issue - BMW Forum

Hi guys, really hope you can help me here as I know nothing about cars.

I've just bought a '93 325TDS SE. It's not in the best condition but everything has been fine until today. I dropped my girlfriend off at work and went home to get ready to go to work myself. I'd been home only an hour before I tried to restart the car. The car turns over and then cuts out straight away. I thought maybe it had ran out of fuel, because the gauge is a bit dodgy and can jump around irratically, but no.

Ive also noticed that the central locking no longer works and this started at the same time!

Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

FYI it was nothing more than a blown fuse

Like I said, I know sweet FA, but luckily I checked this at first light. I never wouldve guessed that central locking, interior light and ignition was on the same fuse!
