Strange Lighting issues

Hello! My girlfriend's 328is has developed an interesting problem: When you turn on the headlights, none of the dash lights come on... I'm thinking that the headlight switch is causing this??? Any suggestions?

check your interior control fuse, it might have another listing though

do they come on with the parking lights but go off with the headlights?

I've checked all the fuses under the hood, and they're fine.

The dash lights do not come on when you turn the headlight switch to either parking lights or headlights, though. ghead

Is your OBC saying anything. Mine use to do it, but I had the trunk wiring problem going on and fixed it.

The OBC doesn't say anything about it. The dimmer switch gets "really hot" when the lights don't come on, and the reminder buzzer that your lights are on when you remove the key and open the door no longer works either.

Any suggestions?
