Question

used Ok, so i just bought a '97 328I with the 10 speaker system. I have an IPOD and XM on my old car that i would still like to be able to use in my new bimma. I have a poineer deck from my old car, but i love the stock look. Does any one know if how powerful the stock system is (i dont have the radio manual). Or any suggestions for what i should do??? I saw this priduct, but i wasnt sure if it would display the songs on the display.

well.. this isn't in the proper section, u should really try this in the audio section of the forums... anyways, i know that alpine cd players are top of the line equipment, and also they come, XM READY.... and now, alpine makes a thing that hooks right up to your ipod, so that u can play them through the cd player.. go to crutchfield and check it out!

I have a 2004 clarion dxz745mp deck. Perfect match for the LEDs of the dash color, has an aux port that I've run into the little sunglasses cubbie (for my ipod) It uses cenet so you can hook 2 6-disk changers, sirius, TV Tuner/screen ready, and sounds great. I have it hooked to the stock amp and added a bazooka 10" sub in the trunk. Stock speakers elsewhere. It sounds great and looks wonderful also.

I researched a LOT for this. The entire package, with sat, 6-disk, labor for install, etc. was less than $1000. I put the SAS sub in myself after asking the installers to leave me a line-level and remote power wire in the trunk (took 45m)

Highly recommended E36 stock replacement. The 2005's I've seen don't look as good.

I'll second the vote on the Clarion DXZ745MP...Had mine installed a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. You will NOT find ANY new HU that will come close to the Clarion (2004' model) as far as matching your cars amber interior lighting. Here's a link if you don't mind buying on line...You can also browse all of the HU's they have and see what I mean about trying to find something to match...99% of them are frickin' hideous

I bought an Alpine unit from these guys a couple of years ago with no problemos..
