I've read all the great posts on how to make the CD player actually work after install, but I'm stuck before that.

I'm trying to get into the dash to unscrew the metal box that holds the head unit and put in a new one. Does someone have a step-by-step on removing the dash?

I've already pulled the driver and passenger side under-dash panels. I've pulled all kinds of other screws and bolts, but still not quite there. On the passenger side, do I need to remove the glove box to get to dash screws? How? What about the driver side? The dash is all one piece so it has to come off, right?

I have a 1999 M3.

You can pu all that back together. The factory radio is only held in by two screws from the front. Any sleeve left behind just pulls outs.
