that is, it doesnt have the classier looking colored bmw emblem like the one one the front and rear of the car. it just has a crappy black rubber one. so i bought a new one on ebay. this will fit my car right?
i think it will work. i put my fingernail under mine and it feels like it will come off if i use a screwdriver or something. its just a matter of if the new one will fit in the old space i think. im sure it will but ill report back in in a few days once i get it in the mail.
I was thinking since it's a sticker it would just go over top of the old one.. i mean the one i have seems to be part of the rubber steering wheel itself
It should probably stay put if his airbag deploys. The flap on the steering wheel from which it deploys moves aside for the deployment. If the emblem is stuck on well, it shouldn't come loose.
Ever had anyone throw something like a sticker at you and hit you in the eye? Hurts, doesn't it?
I don't even want to know what happens when the airbag which deploys at what ... 150 mph throws one such sticker at you ... If it hits at a proper angle, it would probably slice so far into your head that it would kill you.
no it wouldnt kill you. it doesnt have enough mass. did you see that episode of mythbusters where they tested the myth of deadly throwing cards? even with a custom made machine that chucked the card at like 190mph it only made a tiny knick on jamie's skin.
