i need to check my steering wheel it jumps up and down when i walk over a road fill with stones it seems that its not tightenned very wel inside may be because i was late to change the pads and repair the trims...
tell me how to remove the steering wheel i cant see no screws no nothin as if its on hell a part
i have a 320 1992 sedan ...
is there any DIY link ...

Ummh... at the back of the steering wheel.. there should be like 3-4 screws, depending on the model of the steering wheel you have. Unscrew those and you should be able to remove the front of the wheel. from there, everyuthing should be self explanatory.


Oh yea.. if you have a stwwring wheel with an airbag, remove the + connector from your battery, else you're going to get an airbag error and some lights will start staying on on your dash.

well i cant see whats behind the steering but i cant see and screw's there and beneath the steering wheel there is a long neck that goes inside the wheel
i dont have airbag in it also
but i just saw the BMW LOGO in the middle of the steering wheel so do u think i can find a big screw there or something that untight the whole wheel from there u know wat i mean like the steering geear same idea .
am not goin for the step before i see if any did this or agree me afraid to damage it :S

Behind the BMW logo you have to remove the big nut. Now you can pull off your steering wheel very easily. Make sure that you will replace the wheel on the same position and fasten it with 63 Nm (46 lbs-ft)
