I have a 96' 328ic and have a small tear in the steering wheel about the size of a quarter at the 1 o'clock position. It is from wear. Any suggestions on what I can do? ANy way I can get it repaired w/o rreplacing the wheel?

i dont care for them, but "wheelskins" makes a high quality replacement rap. I haven't seen an oem replacement.

An OEM repair is more expensive than a second hand (or salvage yard) one. A good alternative is a M3 or sport steering wheel.

Can anyone tell me if this steering wheel from a 99 Z3 will fit the 96 328ic?

I think it will fit, but I'm not really sure.

The top one is the exact model of my wheel. I would put money on it that it will install on your bimmer. Call the dealership and ask.
