Steering probs!

Hope someone could help me on this one...Ive got a 320i coupe and the steering is rather heavy. It also makes sqeeky noises when i turn. Ive check the fluid and all seems good....any ideas??

Add fluid to the powersteering.

I had the problem with the sound, and when i added the ATF fluid it went away... about the steering being heavy, i read in the service manual yesterday (by chance) that you you check and maybe tighten the V-Belt.

If he is low enough on fluid steering could become heavy but if adding the ATF fluid doesn't fix things then check the v-belt...

Always use ATF check see if you're leaking from the pump.

ATF is for girls. REDLINE is the way to go.

Thanks peeps. got it booked it to a garage tom. Hopefully its just the v belt that needs tigtening
