Would it be possible to get black exhaust tips for a performance exhaust - everything I have seen is chrome...would it be possile to customise yourself or would the heat peal paint or hammerite off!

Any ideas - I want a performance exhaust but in matt black!

Word. I did this to my rear undercarage (mainly the trunk bottom piece and muffler) to make the bottom disappear underneith the black valiance. Works like a charm. Don't drive for at least 12 hours or you'll smell the paint baking on the exhaust pipes, 24 hours if you can.

Items I've used BBQ paint on so far. Valve cover and muffler.
