Static When Rear Defrost Is On

I own a 94' 325is in which it says the antenna for the radio is built into the rear glass and when i turn on my rear defrost it seems to make the radio static. any suggestions?

I haven't found the other post about this subject but my car does the same thing. When the last owner had the rear window tinted they did a shitty job and managed to cut one of the wires in the back window. My solution was to just get XM much better reception and no commercials.

P.S. There is no way to repair that wire!

There really isnt much of anything you can do but live with it...Only thing you could do is replace the antenna and mount is somewhere else...

Nah too much work, would rather just not listen to the radio and defrost the rear at the same time. Besides the damn tint is so dark, unless it is extremely bright out side I can't tell if there is a cop behind me or not!
