starting problems

i have a 318 on an 95 reg and it has a little trouble starting. takes around 5-7 seconds to start, if not longer. have just changed the coil pack, leads and spark plugs.

any ideas?

TEST:
Cold engine - Hard to start? Yes No
Hot engine - Still hard to start? Yes No
when was last tune-up?
If you have opened the spark plugs, what color are the electrodes?

your reply will help me tell you wht could be worng

not sure about the tune up as ive only had it a couple of weeks and previous owner didnt mention about it.

spark plugs are brand new.

Two main parts come to play at cold start. The Cold start injector, and the Temperature Timing Switch.

I will take my chances on the Temperature Timing Switch, as it is a common bimmer problem :-)
