It can be removed from underneath also, best on a 4 post lift and you will require a set of 'E' 'Torx' 'ratchet spanners' they are excellent with a 5 degree ratchet lock movement.

If your changing the clutch theres no need to remove the starter motor, just release the bolts that hold it to the bell housing, when you replace the box just realign the starter and bolt up, Ive done this whilst changing the auto box on mine .
