Starter Or Alternator Sound

Hi! I got a little problem with my '98 318i. When I start the car, I can hear a weird sound, something like when you turn the key again when the engine is already On. The sound isn't present each time I start the car... I noticed it's more often when the car is stopped for a long period of time (10+ hours).

I looked under the hood, my alternator is the french VALEO replacement (the last owner probably changed it).

Any idea?? Alternator, Starter?? Anything else?
