Squeaky Clutch

(sorry i keep making threads but i love getting opinions from you guys)

My clutch squeaks as i release it very loudly, i am able to shift smoothly but it is squeaky as hell ... usually if i put it in neutral and pump the clutch a bit it goes away but its a consistant probem .. i was wondering if this happens to anyone else / what i may be able to do to resolve the problem

thanks

If the squeak is coming from inside the car then it's your clutch pedal. Common problem

http://www.bmwccottawa.org/gallery/album27

I also got this from another site... "The bushings which are part of the clutch pedal mounting are probably worn. Problem is worse on hot days. http://www.uucmotorwerks.com sells a set of bushings (2) for $20. The have a DIY guide as well."

It's part #4 in the link below:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...54&hg=35&fg=05

If the noise is coming from under the car then it may be the throw-out bearing or the pilot bushing.
