Thumbs up

I'm about to Purchase a 1997 328i. I am told that it has the sports package. I assume it just has a more aggressive suspension, but how can I tell if hes just trying to get every penny out of his car or if it really does. It has 90k miles, so the original suspension is getting worn out. soo...? So my 2 questions are. What does the sports package include on the car, and How can i tell if it has it?

the best way, is to take your VIN and call your local BMW or BMWNA and get your cars info.
i did that with my car, and they told me where and when it was bought, what options it came with etc etc. to my surprise mine was bought with Mtech suspension kit, sport seats, CD player etc etc, so they can pretty much tell you everything about that sale.

That was a sticking point in my search for my car as well, and I had to pay extra to get it. Now that I've had time to reflect on that decision, I might of been better off saving the extra $$$ I spent on the car and applied to upgrading the suspension that Im gonna wind up upgrading anyways.
