Put the last 7 of your vin in there and it should tell you (not sure, I would put mine in but I dun have it memorized). But as to exactly what you get I am not entirely sure. I think your seats are different...

Well I bought a sports packaged 97 328i and all I notice is the rims (they have the "sports package rims") and I think if you have an automatic you have the "sport shift" mode where you can play with it in a semi-manual mode. Not quite sure though!

WOW that vin decoder was absolutley worthless for me! I already knew my car was a manual e36 with an M52 engine! Oh well neat toy anyways.

Yes, I have a manual, coupe, M50, made in 1994/01, with the steering wheel on the left.

AFAIK, the sport package also came with the sport seats, netting you the adjustable thigh support, and slightly different bolster design.

I have an "is" and my car does not have sport seats, i take a turn and fly all over. I am in the market kinda for some if anyone knows of a place to get some tan leather sport or high bolster seats.

I think that those wheels are the sport wheels by the way pimpin.

WTH it said my engine takes 6.5 liters of oil not 6? I have the sport package but it doesn't say anything about it.

sports package cars have those rims that you had on the car when you bought it. it also includes stiffer and lower springs, thicker sway bar in the rear, and the seats that you guys are talking about.
