Well, one whole day with my new 325is and I want to mod it.
I really want to get an M3 style spoiler - are there particular brands that you guys recommend/should stay away from?
I've noticed that quite a few sigs have aftermarket M3 spoilers installed - where did you get them?
I'm a pretty good DIYer and was wondering how difficult it is to mount one yourself - I assume the most important thing would be to seal the mounting holes really well. I actually don't like the ones with the 3rd brake light mounted in the middle.

I prefer the factory spoilers. The classy look but still look sporty. Make sure to get it with LED

Yeah, I'd love to get a factory spoiler (and I will if I can find a used one on Ebay or something). But unfortunately they're a bit prohibitively priced... I guess you get what you pay for.
For instance - there's an M3 style spoiler for $103.95 at www.carpartswholesale.com. Too good to be true?

No racing for me - I'll stick to the Xbox for that. Checked out the link - looks like a great deal - have you had experience with these guys before?
Thanks for information by the way - there's just so many different manufacturers, that it's difficult to discern which are crooks, and which ones actually make good products.

You were pretty happy with the fit and finish then I gather?
I was trying to determine how the custom style spoiler compares to the M3 one - they look very similar in the picture - could you post a pic of your car?

Just compared the two spoilers a bit closer - the M3 spoiler looks a bit higher, more angular. I actually kind of prefer the custom style round shape - sleeker and $215 painted... hmmm
I bought mine on ebay off of a company called "Autoearth", they have a web site you can check out www.autoearth.com . The price was right US$152.00, and it was really well packed when shipped. It came complete with all the hardware and a bright LED brake light, primed ready for paint. I didn't install it, the guys that painted my car installed it and they said the quality was excellent. I'm really happy with the way it looks, check them out.
