Someone broke my nose

I was parked near a construction site, when I got back to my car I noticed someone hit the front. The nose piece is dented, but nothing else seems to be damaged. Noone would own up to it so now I am faced with repairs. I am wondering if I can knock the dent out, or will I have to replace the piece?

Dang that sucks, but you can probably remove the left kidney and knock the dent out and put some bondo on it.

I can replace the nose piece for about $50 plus shipping, but it comes primer black. If I am going to have to paint anyway I might as well. I guess that would be a good excuse to paint the bumpers and side skirts to match!

What will you paint it with and how? I'm interested in knowing, because my nose piece has a lot of rock chips.

Man I have something like that it sucks, but I have a black car so you can hardly tell, you have to look really close at it. I have asked around for replacement but its quite expensive so I been drive with it for about 8 months now.

In response to the paint question, I will take it down to a shop by my house. They do high end paint and graphics, but I know the the guy so he will give me a deal.

Unfortunately I have to replace the steering rack and front struts first!

I think i need to replace my rack and struts too, know of any place cheap to buy them?

I am getting my parts from an individual, but I did find a good place for parts online. The racks are expensive if you get one new (about 275 is the best I found). I think they had bilstien touring struts for about 110 plus shipping, but I don't think that included the springs.

Whats the difference between the steering rack and the rack and pinnion? is it the same thing?
