as i was doing my installs of the m3 mirrors, the new gauges, impact strips and front corners, i noticed the fronts didnt fit... now i found the box it says sedan. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR what a kick in the nuts, i hate having to exchange parts. i will be posting my installs later tonight.
Are the M3 impact strips a easy pop off pop on install. I was looking at my "is" strips the other day and they are actually inserted into the metal of the door slightly. How does this work and let us know how they look. I need to replace my impact strips on my bumpers because they are so faded and thought while I am at it I might as well do the whole thing.
no, fed ex is picking them up, and they arent clear, they are smoked. as for impact stripping its the door trim with the little ///M badge on it.
are they easy? yes and no, easy to install yes. but i found a problem while doing it, there are a few plugs that didnt make sense on the new ones. so i will try to fabricate something on a later date, for now they are staying on no problems.
the trim that on the m3 has the ///M3? i didn't know they were called that, cool, i was going to purchase some from bavauto wihtt he ///M as well, please do a writeup on it!
