I ran a Nissan SE-R Spec V yesterday (2.5L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder). He had this sleeper look to it but I knew he had some mods done to the engine. We made three runs (on a complete empty side road)
1st run: I pulled him at the start (figured, since the SE-R is a FWD), I was 1 car length ahead until he start catching up in 3rd! I was really amazed as he almost came up to the height of my front door @ about 65mph. However he ran out of revs and I could pull third until almost 7k and got him in 4th by about a car length.
2nd run: same as first.
3rd run: He had a slightly better start but I was still ahead (I LOVE RWD!) He cought up though in 4th. I got him, but it was a matter of inches.
We came back to the meeting point and THEN I found out that he was spraying NOS! A 75 dry shot in his CAI. ---> you can imagine the grin on my face
First victory against a NOS car (with the same engine size) B)
