Unhappy Smell?

My (97) 328i smells like a box of crayons. Does anybody else have this problem? I have put an air freshener in, but I can still smell it. Someone please help. How can I get rid of smell?

vacuum out your whole car(shampoo the carpets if you can) and clean out the a/c system(where is the smell comming from?) and replace the cabin filter(if dirty and smelly)
