I have broken the slip ring on my steering wheel. Long, boring story Does anyone happen to have a steering wheel or slip ring lying around? Pelican has them as special order. Might take a while to get here. There are more than one kind, my part number ends in 1-162-111. Been checking on Ebay to no avail, so far. Thanks.

Bav doesn't have it, haven't check salvage yards. It's almost $200 and special order from Pelican, goodness know what the dealer charges. I figure someone on here has changed out their wheel to aftermarket and has the old wheel laying around, collecting dust.

yeah check local salvage yards... and no i dont wanna know how you broke it.. i just changed my steering wheel but i needed the slip ring for the new wheel ..
Last time I looked on Ebay the only ones there that had what I wanted, were high dollar ones. I'll check again after a while. Thought about getting the adapter from MOMO that turns off the airbag light and use an aftermarket wheel. But, I would really like to keep my airbag.

Appreciate the help. Pelican wants $172 dollars and special order. I figure the dealer wants more than that. I did find a wheel on Ebay. Had to buy whole wheel, but a whole lot cheaper than the new part. And I can always resell the wheel. Thanks all!
