hey everybody. My car idles about between 500-600 rpm's. but once in a while when i am sitting at idle it will flutter between 400-600 rpm's. any ideas? bad thing?
yup i'm with you guys too. mine has pulled that bullshit on me too sometimes. and my 94 325is only has 100k miles on it. i'm not trying to say anything, but just telling you guys that its not torn to shit or anything. please post if you guys figure out the fix.
i dont think its a problem when it drops down and revs itself back up at idle. mine does it sometimes... its usually around 600 rpm, but when i turn my headlights on and radio n shiz on, it drops and revs itself up again...im thinking its normal
I'm guessing it has something to do with your idle control valve. Other posters have suggested cleaning it off. I had similar problem and sprayed b-12(like gumout) on the springs and such...seems to have minimized the problem.
