Side Mirror Glass Popped Out In Car Wash

My drivers side sideview mirror glass popped out in a car wash (they couldn't find the piece--I was pretty pissed). Did a search, no clear info on my question.
Is this an easy fix. Can I just buy replacement glass and pop it in, or do I need to buy a whole new sideview mirror unit.

Yes you can just replace the glass, of course if you have heated mirrors they are more costly.

why would u pay at all for that, make the car wash pay for that, thats a load of crap..

Thats why my baby will NEVER enter any car wash!!!!

Its gets hand washed once a week!

I know, I feel guilty every time I take it to a car wash, but with 2 little kids, hard to get time to hand wash the baby. Need to get it detailed properly.

oh..sorry!

My best friend just had his first, a boy...I swear I hardly ever see him anymore...he's always doing something with that baby...

But the thing is when they grow up...you'll have two little eager car washers in the house !!!

Good Luck with replacing your mirror!

PS: Try Ebay I've seen working but used OEM E36 units sell for like $10-$20 and a new OEM unit goes for around $75.
