Side Mirror fitment help

Does the coupe side mirrors fit the sedan or is that one of the parts that are not interchangable. I may have a deal on a replacement mirror but its from a coupe and I have a sedan. Any help please.

i'm not sure, but if they make a certain product for both 2d and 4d, i'd go with whater your car is.. and not chance it!!

No, they will not. The 4d cars have different doors than the 2d cars.

If you get OEM mirrors such as the M3 mirrors, you could actually make a 2 dr set of mirrors fit a 4 door by swapping the base plates. These are the triangular base plates that mount the mirror onto the side of the door. So short answer no, long answer yes with a but...

as autotechnica said, the baseplates must be the same, otherwise the answer is no.
