I've been looking at a 1992 318is with 130,000 miles on it. The body and interior are immaculate so I have no worries with that. However, I am concerned with the mileage. Is this something to raise an eyebrow at? Any suggestions? Opinions?

If the car is in immaculate condition and has been well cared for you should have no worries with that mileage................

Expect some wear and tear stuff. Possibly an inspection II. How much is the asking price?

Asking price is 5,800. That's over blue book but I'll get that price down. Also, it's a 5-speed so clutch and linkage is another concern.

I'm just worried about getting quarter and dollared to death (vice nickel and dimed).

I'm going to have an inspection done so are there things I should be looking for in particular?

Here is a checklist to go by:
Common E36 Problems

Note the "M50" engine is the 325
and the "M42 is the 318
