Should I buy this HID Kit - BMW Forum

I found this kit on ebay. I was wanting opinions on kits. I don't want to get anything cheap that I will have problems with. And what color should I get. I like the other colors, but I also don't want to loose light density cause of the colors. I believe we have 9006 right.?

9006 is the bulb type

I wouldn't buy from eBay. I suggest that you visit www.jlevisw.com.

They are a forum sponsor and carry the best products in the market, offer good prices, and have great costumer service.

As far as light color: 4500K is generally used for OEM and will be the brightest. As you go up in the Kelvin scale, the light gets bluer, then purplish, but loses brightness. Many people like the compromise of 6000K

yeah kaixen is good, but if i were you i would at least talk to Jlevi about getting a set of ellipsoids.

first off, i am not gunna bash ebay.. i bought my hid's off ebay for 199... plus 35 shipping... and it was the best mod ive done... VERY IMPRESSED>..

Please give us a link to the auction(s) you are watching. We cannot blindly tell you yes or no without knowing what you are looking into.

Make sure to buy with someone with excellent feedback (~98% positive), and lots of items sold.

If it is some random person, then you can give it a shot. I would if the listing showed good knowledge of the product, and if it were of a reputable brand: ZKW, Hella, DEPO. Some people have good things to say about DJ Auto and InPro, but I -- personally -- would stick with the first three.

personally, i have inpros and i wouldnt sugest them... they really arent that great, youd be better off going with one of the first 3... also +1 for posting a link... we cant help much with out it...
