short shifter

im thinking about getting a short shifter, ive seen the uuc ones for like 300 and some cheap ebay ss for like 20 or 30...i remember seeing in a post, too lazy to search, that a z4 shifter will work as well...? any other bmw oem shifters that reduce throw taht will fit into my 95 325? if teh z4 shifter will work, how much will throw be reduced by? thanks

I really shouldn't have psted the link since your too lazy... but it is my thread so I guess I've gotta do it. There's a pic further down of the two side by side, the part number is in there and everything else that you need. Have fun, also look into making the cheap clutch stop....

undeersteer.com sells budget shifters if you want one of those. Those use the Z shifters. I got the 50% one, its CRAZY short.
