Hey just wanted to share my awesome new install. I got a SSK and installed it earlier this week.It feels like a whole new car. My shifts are tighter, quicker, and more accurate. And best of all it's a shifter for the M Roadster (MZ3). You can find the proper parts and install help on this website...

It tells you everything you need to know.
There are a couple things you should know.
1.) The part is Manufacturer discontinued. So you may have to find a used one. I was lucky, my local dealer had 1 left in stock. Which discounted the part a lot.
2.) Let the tranny cool down. Cause it gets hot once the boot is off.
3.) On the website they list optional parts. I recommend getting them. Cost is $16 to $30 more, and it is well worth it.
4.) Before you start go to your local parts shop and buy some Synthetic grease. I found STA-LUBE Brake Caliper Synthetic Grease. And really lathered it on the ball joint.
5.) One of the final steps on the website is to Bend the selector rod. I didn't do this and i don't think that it is a big deal. The shifter is just pushed over to the right a little bit.
All said and done i spent $79.23 which includes the shift lever, all optional parts, and the synthetic grease. Oh and about 1 hour labor.
Definetly worth the time and money. The result is a 35% reduction in shift throw for under $100.00. But it may vary due to the Discount.
Anyhow hope you all enjoy this. I really am.
