Short Shift!

Which is the best short shift to put into an e36 out of the Z model ones!

I was thinking Z3 1.9L one but im not sure, what do u guys think?

I think the z4 will also work. Either that or get one from a 6-cylinder z3

they're all different and i got no idea if all of these would fit or only the 1.9 z3 one, the z4's i dnt like coz they sit too low nd thts not as comfertable to drive:

would all these fit? does anyone know? if they do ill get the z3 M one which would have the biggest reduction in shifting but wouldnt sit too low!

PM thekid. He has a z3 short shifter in his e36.

Get the Z4 shift 3.0 lever. The Z3 will work however, it is not as much. Here's the part number 25-11-7-516-160. Make sure you use this one, if you go the Z4 route, because there is a newer 3.0 Z4 shift lever, that I am not sure will work. Also,I don't think that the knob sits too low with this one.
