which shop is right for my '96 328i?

Hi guys,
Sorry and I moved my posting from a wrong forum site .

I have '96 328i (110k miles) and it has been making funny noise under the left rear passenger side. I took my car to a couple of shops. The first one said I needed a 2 RTABs(rear trailing arm bushing) at $620 and the other said I needed a left rear wheel bearing,which is said to be falling apart any time soon. He showed me a little wiggling l after jacking up only in that side ,saying it shouldn't be. This guy said it will cost $500-600 + hub $170 if needed(he was not sure until taking apart).
By the way, which guy is right?

Also, my car is pulling right ,and I needed a wheel alignment. The first guy just said wheel alignment at $175. and the latter guy says I need a new left arm conrtol(or whatever to fix) costing about $300.

The second guy scared me off by saying the wheel might fall off during driving,so I left a car for repair but I am not sure what is really going on.
Could you guys educate me on these ASAP?

This won't be easy for you. If you can't find someone you trust to confirm their findings, all you can do is make them show you the parts that need replacing and why (proving it). And ask them to back up their work with a good warrantee.

your trailing arm bushings are bad they should be replaced every 40k or so theres a diy on how to do it the puller is like 100 you can save close to 400 by doing it your self its easy do a google search on trailing arm bushing replacment and they all charge alot for bmws no matter where you go good luck
