Shahid thinks i need an e36... - BMW Forum

Ideas?

He dropped a handful of options, but heres the criteria;

5 speed
2 doors
black or blue (preferably, i know how to repaint)
less than 100K if possible

And, i'ld like to spend less than 2k, like I said, i know how to rebuild a body if i need to.

power options are whatever, i don't really need power windows, locks, ect.

any info or suggestions are good.

I didn't know that e36s came without power windows...

In our market, a 6cyl meeting your criteria would probably still be at least $6kCDN

Possible. However, last i talked to shahid, at least half on the options he gave, including a relatively decent(READ: needs paint real bad) 2dr 5 spd, were all around 2.5K

And remember, i was solid e30 man...no experience w/ e36 besides riding in teh drz's.

if u want, keep checking the recycler.com or autotrader.com for cars around 98244, ill check em out for u if u find anything ur willing to pick up...

are you serious? I really don't see any e36 going for anything near that with under 100,000 no matter how awful the paint is.... but good luck with you search and you'll be happy with your switch, just do the proper check list before you purchase or you could be paying major $$$

why 2 door? what is the difference in speed between a 4door and 2door 325 say?

did 4door 325's not come with the m52 engine and coupes did?

alright haha but don't you find it annoying when you have to get out so other people can get in the back? thats why i got a 4 door.

That's why there are only 2 ppl ever in my car. And, all my friends have kids, so they never want to borrow the car.

Man, when people want in the back seat, they shouldn't be going in through your (the driver) door. That is why there's a passenger's door.
