Seat swappin....M3 style

Whassup Fellas,
I havent been around too much lately, been worlkin my ass off , 2 full time jobs just so I can buy a bunch of parts so I can install them in the fall when I have some time. Just a quick question for ya all, I have a friend who has just bought a wrecked 96 M3 and wants to change the seats and swap them from a 2002 M3 .....Would they fit direct???? What problems would he have with electrical wireing and such.....are there any things that any of you could think of that will prevent this swap from happening????? I hope it will work.......cause if it is possible, Im gunna try to convince him to just hand over the Vaders......and then theyll be in my car ....Oh yeah!!!!! Hpoefully .......Lady luck is on my side

the e36 and e46 seats are different. Im sure they could be fitted, but it would require a new mounting rail to be fabricated by you or a shop for a good deal of $$$.

Ill pass the info along.......he owns a body shop so he should be able to come up with something.....Is there any companies that make an a kit of that sort???
