I drive a 1999 M3 and have problems with some give with the seat backs. When I come to a quick stop the back of the seat flexs forward. Any help in how to fix it?

Have you checked the clips at the middle... ? They should be hooking in... other than that.. you could always rig a latch... it would be all that hard.. but just mess with the latch first...

About your post... welcome... and make sure you post in the right forum.. there is a M forum... check that out...

Good Luck,

Les

I had a similar problem, but I have manual seats. (I can't tell from your post whether or not you have manual or power seats.) With manual seats you might need to repalce a small clip located on the under side of the seat. To do this you wil have to take the seat out and flip it over. I bought a handfull replacement clips at the stealer for about 4 bucks.
