Seat Brackets

So for about the past month iv been looking for seats because mine just doesnt want to work anymore and iv seen a couple on ebay that say universal brackets. can someone explain what this means? Is it saying they arent going to fit in my car unless i drill through my car or is it going to fit i have to just drill new holes for the seats? Any help would be appreciated.

Most universal seat brakets have the ability to either use the width of the existing mount holes... and the ability for you to place the new bolt where ever the old ones were... location wise... thus the universal application ability.

What kind of seat are you looking to apply?
